Psychic Spies are a four piece band from Aberdare, South Wales. They have been playing together for nearly two years. They have played many high profile and unforgetable gigs such as the Cardiff Barfly, Clwb Ifor Bach, Dempseys and Swansea Monkey Café (to name but a few).

Psychic Spies have been regulary featured in such papers as the Aberdare Leader (local paper), The Fly magazine (National music mag) and The Western Mail (Welsh news paper). The band have also been played on the Mikey P show on Valleys Radio, Cable Rock show and Adam Walton show on BBC Radio Wales. They are also due to play a session for Bethan and Huw on the BBC radio One evening session.


Psychic Spies have recently won the Fopp& PRS unsigned Award for the South West (England and Wales) area. This will enable the band to record a three track E.P in Forge Studios where Ian Brown recorded his first solo album. The three track demo will then be sold nation wide in all Fopp stores from January.
Psychic Spies recently played Red Dragon Radio’s Sparks in the Park at Coopers Field Cardiff to a crowd of over 20,000 and upcoming gigs for nov/dec include the Toucan Club, Barfly and the Coal Exchange Cardiff alongside many local gigs and Bristol fopp record store in January to promote the ep release.
This will also be followed by a nationwide tour in early spring and showcase gigs in London ,venues .tbc.

The wide range of musical interests between the four gives Psychic Spies a unique sound of their own which so far nobody has been able to put an exact label on.
