From The Ashes

Snowy December 2004 and 5 disparate individuals are left in turmoil.
From glorious, emotion fuelled gigs soon to be legendary on the local
circuit, dreams had shattered and the sonic roar that had ripped
though Midlanads pubs, bars and nightclubs had died a death. People
had moved on, line ups had changed and once great bands were either in
tatters (Cepheus), severely restricted (MiLO) or had taken leave of
their senses and sacked their best member (Satin Dolls). Forced to
retreat back to where they had come, these five trailblazers withdrew
temporarily from the scene, battered but yet not beaten, to furiously
forge new tunes admist the blizzards of dissapointment and plan the
next rising....And now it's here!

Welcome to 'From The Ashes' - The hottest new Midlands based band.
Cramming influences into the mix, the overall sound is difficult to
describe; A deep fusion of metal roots, emo passions and a swirling
cacophony of jagged edged melodic riffs is one description but the
eclectic set bears no real categorising. Heavy it is (!) but generic
it most certainly isn't. Music with a heart may be struggling to
breathe beneath the dirge, but 'From the Ashes' are here to sweep
aside the legions of bland, midrange 'tunes by numbers, 'inject some
life back into your stereo and revitalize venues in need of musical
refreshment.
